Girls, Anal sex? The new norm? A few questions about the act?

Hello! SOOO I have a few questions.
I was curious what your perspective on anal sex?

1 Is it becoming a new norm? something that was once taboo, but is now common place? (or am i mistake how commonly practiced it is these days?)/... If you answered no to this, go ahead and skip to questions 4 and 5.

2. If it is more common place, is it largely due to the porn industry?

3. Is becoming more common place largely a positive or negative thing?
does it further push unrealistic expectations on women? Something that services only male needs, while more or less causing harm to females?
Or is a positive thing in that its normalizing something that was unfairly considered wrong/taboo? Something that can bring pleasure/fun to both partners?

4. Overall, what is your honest opinion on the act of anal sex? Is it degrading? sexy? pleasurable? horrible? something that shouldn't exist? something that you are happy is becoming more common place these days? etc etc Give me any opinion that comes to mind.

    3. I think both negative and positive, a lot of men do have unrealistic expectations about anal because of adult content. They think you just go ham on a woman’s behind. Which is not at all the case, during anal you have to be pretty careful and aware that accidents can and might happen. It can bring pleasure to both partners if the man understands he must always be gentle the first couple minutes until the anus has gotten used to the intruder. Also the anus does “go back” into its normal form after sex since it is a muscle so the next time you will have to start from square one.

    4. I’m a masochist, so pain is alright to me in some ways, I do find it very degrading which turns me on all the much more. It’s also pleasurable, although I find butt plugs better because there isn’t the constant in and out movement yet still the feeling of being stuffed. I’m happy more people are opening up about their sex life but it doesn’t change the fact that many women (and men) still dont like it.

    5. I would be open to it, but again it’s a topic that has to be talked about first and you have to buy the right materials such as lube and/or enema.

  • 1. I dont know if I would say norm, but definitely mainstream. It seems pretty common and no longer something talked about in hushed tones. Even pegging seems to be almost mainstream.

    2. Porn probably helped it along, but so has women magazines to destigmatize and inform.

    3. I think its a little expected, almost like a BJ. Uninformed guys who dont know how to warm us up and go in cold are bad for the cause.

    4. With enough lube, i'm probably in the minority that would say they really enjoy it. I dont know about degrading or otherwise because I do maintain some control over the event. But yes, it can be enjoyable for some.
