Why do we need to wear bras?

Question

I've fairly small breasts yet I've always felt the need to wear a bra. The second a girl starts to develop, her mother gets her a bra and she's conditioned for life to wear one.
But there are millions of men with much bigger breasts than me (and perhaps most women) who get through life without any braless problems.

I feel you're half right, flat chested women don't need bra's. Maybe just a singlet.

My ideal quality in a woman is she has big natural breasts (in symmetry and promotion to her body and features). And I'd find her wearing a bra to be more fun to pull off, yank off, flick off snap off or just plain unhook off during sex.

It's just more fun and I also think big breasted women need that bra to contain their goodies until the bedroom. The bedroom is the place where the bra does not belong... or the bathroom... or the pool (except bikini tops). Lol.

Indeed, I think that it's only fair for women to go braless. Especially since fat dudes can certainly do so. But why stop there? Girls should also be allowed to go bare-chested without repercussion, just as men can.

I dont know. why u feel that way.. ITs not just about size.. A girl has a breast, which she needs a support. Even if you are an A cup.. u have an access tissues more on sides compared to near nipples, so it will for sure jiggle. Another reason is.. the sensitivity of nipples. Like I hate it when my nipples brush against the cloths, its irritating and painful. I can give one more reason, it enhances your curves.. i wear for all three reason, and would be conscious if i am not wearing one

I am lucky in a way. I am so flat, I almost don't ever need a bra. I own only two. One I wear when I really have to. The other is for "special occasions!"

It's pretty well established that women and particularly men prefer the appearance of breasts that haven't sagged plus the moms you refer to are trying to establish a norm for attire that's appropriate out in the world. Even if your breasts aren't large, they need support.

You're so tiny! What do you weigh, like 80 lbs (36 kg). I've met very few women who didn't wear bras, whenever I asked about it, the answer I got most consistently from women were bras were there to hide their nipples when they have shirts on.

I'll be honest, it does make me stare more when I see perky nipples, so they're onto something there. Like the guy next to you has some B-cups going on, but if both of you get cold, only one is going to have two little points in the front.

I think small boob girls don’t need a bra. Some just wear one of those small half talk top stretchy things to cover nipples but under a dark or thick shirt it’s unnecessary.

I think ita because women's breasts serve a function and are seen as sexually appealing, by all means if you dont wanna wear one dont, men's are kinda pointless holdovers from when we were girls in the womb (though a man can produce milk if sucked on for like 6 to 8 hours straight) I would personally wear one if it was socially acceptable and they made cool ones , I'd want it purely for for being able to hide things in it

Bras slow down sagging, slightly. As it is known that guys are often attracted to youth, prematurely sagging boobs might give the appearance that a girl is older than she actually is, and fewer guys will want her. That's probably the concern that mothers have for their daughter, anyway..

I guess you're right: many girls would look slutty without because the mass of those large breasts would go in all directions without one.
But I can imagine that if you have small breasts going with or without does simply not make a difference...
