Not necessarily. Not everyone is a moaner, verbal or loud during sex. But if you are worried she doesn't like what you are doing it's worth it to ask. If she isn't the type to speak up for herself or is very invested in your pleasure but not her own than you may want to try something different. Here's a few suggestions.

-instead of asking her to tell you what she likes have her show you. Have her show you how she likes to touch herself and then ask her to move your hands to where she wants them.
