If you have a dildo and use it, does that mean you lose your virginity?

When it’s inserted through the vagina and looks like a real one. Is it considered that you lost it even though you have not had sex before?
This question is probably a bit stupid but I was just curious.

  • Technically as a female, losing your virginity is when your Hymen is broken. It then became modified to mean being penetrated for the first time.

The term has since been modified to include penetration by a penis, and even in some instances it doesn't "count" unless you are penetrated by a penis and it ejaculates inside you.

    • some women are born without them or there small.

    • That is true. I'm just giving you the various definitions I have heard. Pick the one you want to use.

    • So how is a women using a tampon sexual?

  • Not a stupid question at all. But a complicated one. Something I've never thought about. I guess technically, no you haven't lost your virginity since it involves having sex with someone. Does masturbation count?

  • it only matters to the super religious men who want to marry virgins and are checking for a broken hymen. Being a normal healthy woman means she still has needs and a good way to delay having sex until one is ready or waiting for the right person is to use a dildo. i'd say technically you are still a virgin.

  • That all depends on how you define the word. It’s just a word. But I think the general consensus (which I agree with) is that virginity can only be taken by another person.

  • The normal definition is penis in vagina. Your coital debut, not toy fun.

  • Most people only see having sex as losing your virginity. But you'll probably break your hymen

  • Did u have sex with a real dick? Of uou answered no then it means you're a virgin

  • No it's plastic, not a human

  • It depends on how you define virginity. I dont count this since I think virginity is when a penis goes into a vagina. Anything else going in doesn't count

  • It mean that you lost your proof, and that you lost your physical virginity.

  • I wouldn’t consider that sex.

  • The simple answer is obviously NO.

    • Wth? She obviously did if she inserted it.

    • @ravagesavage No she hasn't, Penis entering Vagina = Lost Virginity.

    • If a penis enters and you lose your virginity so does a dildo obviously it works like that. The world ain't so black and white

  • Definitely not. It might break your hymen though.

  • Nope, you lose your virginity when you have sex. Masturbation doesn't count.

  • I'd guess technically no but good way to make your first time for real actually enjoyable and not painful for you.

  • Nah, it takes being sexual with another person to lose it. In a straight woman’s case, it means being penetrated by a real penis.

  • I wouldn't think that would be crossing the line.

  • No because virginity is a mental phenomenon. The only physically virgin part is the hymen which you can tear in many ways yet still be a virgin.

  • No, I'd consider you a virgin, still.

  • Yes , and yes your question is stupid
