I get it if one is in a NSA/FWB phase and isn't looking to be tied down and has toys that they care to use on multiple partners. As long as it's cleaned and sterile, I get the "hotness" of it. BUT if you have sex toys that belonged to a previous loved one that was left behind and now you're using it on a new loved one - I find that disgusting as well I don't want anything that was used by a previous lover. It's the same with clothes, jewellery... once the relationship is in flames... their belongings go in flames, you don't "recycle" them over to your new lover.
It is not hygienic and after time bacteria can build up. Even when one person uses it and cleans it after awhile you have to toss the expensive items. With each girl you should be getting new items anyway. If you wouldn't share a toothbrush with a stranger you shouldn't share sex toys.

If you think of it medically where you go to the doctor or dentist and they have to use medical tools in any orifice of your body all the tools have to be sterilized fully before it goes near another patient or in surgery. It's the same especially since the anal area is where all the toxins in the body pass through. All the bacteria and viruses are filtered out by the lymphatic system and eventually end up in the feces.
