Why do people hook up?

  • First of all, I should say that for most men who are reasonably likeable and are good at sex. There is no such thing as a "hook up". Because under those situations, the sex is so good that the lady is completely willing to keep "hooking up" with them another time. Pretty soon what you have is a friends with benefits type of situation.

    I have met up with a few women where there was an agreed upon commitment for a one night stand. Or there was a random horny moment where we had a few drinks and we wanted to just fuck the shit out of each other. In all of those scenarios there would be continuous dates agreed upon to have sex. The sex was good and if you have a guy who can hold a good conversation, isn't a complete dick, and can make you cum... then why hookup with someone else? I wanted only girls who didn't give a shit and just wanted to have a couple drinks, share a few laughs, and then fuck.

    Can I be honest? Some of those girls turned into relationships. Yes, it is possible for a fuck buddy or friends with benefits to end up being the person you date for a long time to come. :) And can I be honest again? My best relationships have been after one night stands where it was just about sex and we started to like each other naturally without the bullshit expectations in the initial stages of dating.
