I was probably about 11 or 12. This was well before the WWW or even publicly available Internet connections, so my information sources were 60s sex books from the library and Penthouse Letters (for those who don't know, Penthouse was/is an upscale porn magazine similar to Playboy, except vulvas were openly visible - no penetration though). Penthouse had a large section of "Letters to the Editor" that I'm sure at least 50% of which were professionally ghost-written, but there was a lot of good information, much from the female perspective, in those letters and the answers.

Penthouse's letters and stories were so popular that they also released a half-size pulp magazine called Penthouse Forum (and eventually a second called Penthouse Variations) that had a few black & white photos but was otherwise all letters, stories, and articles. Luckily for me I had friends whose fathers had boxes of porn mags in the garage that I could pilfer.

It was from those letters and articles that I learned the most about sex beyond just the visual, and in particular, having a female perspective from female writers was very helpful.

I was 11 or 12 and had watched too many episodes of "monsters inside me"

There was a particular "section of my body" which was very sensitive and I didn't understand why... I thought that it was a wound which was the result of a worm which had dug a hole inside of me and was living inside of me.

One day, I finally got the courage to ask my mom about the worms living inside me... and she laughed at me and told me it was just my clitoris...

16 or 17. I learned these things very late in life lol and even though I heard of the word earlier when I was 15 I had no idea what it meant or what part it is during that time. Then I probably learned about it from some sex-ed based social media post.

When I was little I used to listen in on my big sisters girl talk. It was at a very early age that I decided I was NOT gonna be the sorry ass dudes they were speaking about...
