My ex-husband used the "I'm a sex addict" as an excuse to manipulate our relationship into a open one - I did consent because I loved him and was thinking about his happiness (but I was also insecure and had incredibly low standards in myself) but it got to a point that his "sex addict" behavior didn't apply to me and was just a reason to have "consent" to cheat on me and sexually neglect my needs.

It hurt. And he never said sorry for hurting me and didn't stop his ways. Long story short... he's gone. I am happy.

I would never do that again and not be with a man who is a sex addict. If he loves fucking with just me then I'm down for him. If he wants to fuck anything that got a vagina - boy bye.

I always thought I'd like a sex addict. When I was a virgin I dreamed about having a girl with a high sex drive. However I've been with a few girls who love sex more than I do and it can get pretty cumbersome because for one, women need multiple orgasms to feel satisfied while us men only need 1-2 tops. Secondly, if you don't feel like having sex, they get very self-conscious and think that you're not attracted to them. Also depending on the girl, you may have to worry about infidelity if you aren't pleasuring them as much as you'd like (I haven't dealt with the latter before.)

Depends, if she was loyal and just horny far more often then me then I think that's fine but I don't know if I would be able to please her all the time then. I need loyalty in a relationship, so if she can't be satisfied with just me then I would leave.
