  • Theyre called goosebumps.

Skin orgasm? What the fuck is wrong with people? Whats next "have you ever had a taking-a-shitgasm?"

Sorry, im not trying to be mean but its such a frustratingly unnecessary buzzword.

    • It's a figure of speech

    • Designed to get more clicks because of the word orgasm i know, its ok. Its not your problem im just curmudgeonly and impatient rn

  • Those are "really intense, ecstasy-inducing goose bumps" you're talking 'bout. Yeah, I occasionally feel that due to enjoying music but I never considered such as skin orgasm.

  • I've definitely felt sensations throughout my entire body while listening to music. I've felt what could be considered chills and gotten goose bumps. I've cried many times at the sheer beauty or emotional impact. But I wouldn't describe any of that as orgasm. No trembling, sweating or arousal as a result of the music itself.

  • I envy you !

  • I've never heard of Skin Orgasms. And the picture just looks like Goosebumps to me...

    • The picture looks like goosebumps because you can't see what's going on inside the person's body and mind

  • Is this perhaps related to ASMR?
That genre is all about giving people chills and goosebumps.

Sometimes I hear a song and it gives me radiating warmth and chills and trembling, maybe a bit of sweat, but not arousal. More of an emotional arousal then a sexual one. It doesn't give me an erection, it sets my creative mind racing.

  • Eargasm 🎵

  • You get chills or goosebumps yeah

  • No.. eargasm yes, very much.

    • Does it travel all the way down to your toes?

  • Does a music orgasm while listening to skin count?

  • I've had a tickle of excitement once or twice but I'm not sure if it was the same thing..

  • The first time I heard Phantogram, I lost it. I don't know if this is a skin orgasm, but it was like fireworks in my brain and I got instant chills

  • all the time with headphones on lol

  • "Skin orgasm," really? Do we have to sexualize everything?

I listened to all of LD 50 album last night and probably gave me the sensation a dozen times.

  • No... I get the chills with some good music though. My hair stands on end and I just feel the energy coursing through me.

    • So is that not what she's talking about?

    • @Jamie05rhs well I would hope it’s not. She can’t seriously be pairing that with an orgasm

    • @aangelena please learn what a "figure of speech" is & then come back :)

  • Obviously there needs to be an emotional connection to the song, as such it doesn't happen often unless I'm listening to my own music selection, but yeah it happens often when I am. Most times I wouldn't say it produces arousal, more like a feeling of regret, but then again my life has been filled with bullshit, so...

  • It's usually when you listen music at a live concert or a person have really good vocals

  • Music has never given me any skin orgasm apart from goosebumps

  • Yeah when I hear blackpink and bts songs

  • That's a good word. Seeing it non-sexual... I experience it in a very similar way: initial interest becomes excitement that builds up until you 'loose control' over it, and it... 'explodes'. But I'd say that more than just the skin is affected by this?

  • Now I know why I hate
    TAYLOR SWIFT..

first her music gave me Skin orgasm and later she went trash..

  • Very often! I LOVE it!! I wear my special Bluetooth bass booster Headset, and get the deepest Trance or Techno going! It's intense! Sometimes, I start crying!
