Great question and one I chuckle about quite often. Over the last 20 years of having sex with a good number of different guys up to the time I met the guy who is now my husband and love of my life it was crazy some of the things guys would try conveying about the size of their penis. I worked the entire time at a bar/restaurant, much of it as a bartender. I dressed very prerogative and thus received many requests for "lets have a good time together" with some trying to impress how that big penis was in their pants. Almost 100% of the time one's I connected with ended up having only an average penis (which by the way was fine if they knew how to treat a girl and have good sex with her) but the guy in many cases was a total looser at sex. Either no foreplay, or a can't get it up, or instant ejaculate.
I did connect with guys who were LARGE, but the surprise came only after we were naked together with only one exception. Had this one hot guy I had been flirting with for several days at the bar and I had no clue about his size but he was cute, funny and seemed to be very much a gentleman. Yeah I have the same experience! I guess the guys with the smaller sizes have the feeling they have to make up for their size and impress their partners by sort of convincing them how good and big they are. In my experience the largest men are the ones that are most insecure about their size.

My boyfriend explained it to me how he felt. It was more that he’s so insecure about the size because “normal” sized ones don’t look as weird as thick and long ones. When he was showering with other men during gym class they also stared at it because it looked so different.
