  • Why not. A decision at the day will always belong to the person making it. They should always consider the consequences. However... having this be legal will come with it's own consequences as well, by creating a legal market for this could prompt others to make sex slavery more extreme than it already is. It's a slippery slope. Some can say add on strict laws to go along with this obviously but still a very slippery slope. Nah I say no for this one.

    • Prostitution already exits.. its the lack of regulations that puts Women and men in danger.. legalizing it makes it safer not more dangerous.

    • Still a slippery slope. As long as the market for it becomes norm there will be an uptick in demand and virginity isn't something a person can just reproduce or create. This allows a front to be made and allows people to try to work around the rules if they are not already breaking it. Legalization of prostitution will do nothing but expand prostitution market and allow those who intend to break the rules hide in plain view. You can see this happening with legal marijuana rn. Although it is legal, marijuana sold in black market is still flourishing due to lower prices, no tax, and equal quality.

  • An enterprising young lady who feels that she has something worth selling. Other's seem to agree and are willing to pay for it. Yes it's prostitution, but I don't feel that people should care what other adults do in the privacy of their own lives. As long as it's her selling it, and she wasn't coerced then all is good.

    • Thanks for MHO

  • Please tell me there are not women out there that are THAT desperate for sex and/or money that they're really willing to sell their virginity?

I mean yeah it's a woman's body and her right to do so. A stupid, nonsensical right, but yeah, she can. But should she? NO.

    • It’s illegal in moT places

    • A couple hundred thousand dollar for a hours work can change a lot of minds

    • There’s actually places where it is legal tho. Las Vegas made it legal.

  • I may not agree with it, but I don't see why she shouldn't be allowed. It's her body and her choice, not mine or yours or anybody else's.

    • @kitty71 that wasn't the question. The question was about whether she should be allowed.

    • @kitty71 are you and @Cynicaldreamer the same person?

  • She’s free to do with her virginity what she wants. If she feel that it’s a commodity she can sell and make money with it without moral or emotional damage she’s free to do so.

I would never pay for something similar but I’m sure there are enough men that would. She makes money off other people’s kinks and stupidity, she’s not the first to do so and most likely not the last.

  • I don’t think it should be illegal for women to sell their virginity, but i think it’s a pretty terrible idea. Sex is a very emotional act and that’s even more so true for women. Having sex with some guy who probably don’t care about/aren’t attracted to and who doesn’t care about you/only views you as his sex object he’s paid for is a pretty terrible idea.

  • I’d say the one whos most worthy both romantically/emotionally/physically... not money wise

    • Yup... If they choose to do so and guys too

  • They already do It..

Do are you asking if it should be made illegal. L?

in my opinion No it shouldn’t. Her body her choice.

    • It is Illegal in most states in the USA to make money from sex It's called Prostitution. Most cities actually have a system called Prostitution Court it's a separate Court for Hookers who were arrested soliciting.

    • @Moonchild714 Women have openly sold their virginity for money.. maybe it was in countries not in the United States. If people want to have sex for money it doesn’t protect them to make it illegal.. it will just leave them vulnerable to without legal guidelines. I don’t see the issue. in capitalist society everyone pimps themselves out for money one way or the other. If you Make selling sex- as apposed to selling your body your labor your ideas in any other myriads socially sanctioned ways- illegal then there is no protection unlike other unionized jobs.

    • Vivant, how many of these women selling their virginity are actually virgins? Or maybe they are just scammers? Since the hymen wears away naturally so not having a hymen does not necessarily mean a girl isn't still a virgin. She may be or may not be. There is no way to tell for sure.

  • That is basically prostitution - having sex for money - so is against the law. So with that in mind I would say no. And let's be honest, you would not be able to tell that she was a virgin anyway so it would be easy to be scammed. Probably some whore who is not making enough money walking the streets and is thinking of a new way to scam money.

  • If they're of age, sure.

  • Virginity selling has been going on for a while now and I've noticed they're always good looking and quite old to be virgin. I'm sceptical any of them are real virgins. That said I think selling virginity could be a good thing as it quantifies sex giving it a tangible valve. Too many woman overvalue themselves and learning guys aren't willing to bid over £20 would bring them down to earth.

    • It isn't really like a bidding thing. Most girls who do it get a lot of money. Far more than I would expect.

    • So there's no auctioneer side of the bed saying "going, going, gone"?

    • No it's electronic and I think a meeting beforehand so you can be sure the guy is real and not a total nutjob.

  • Why NOT! It is HER body and she should have the right to do with it as she pleases. What she does doesn't hurt you or me so yea let her do what she wants. We have no right to be judges of the world for everything.

    • Your right but you know its hurting her , what kinda of person sells there body and it doesn't have some kind of negative effect on them mentally. Especially there first time. But were aloud to drink and smoke and that has a definite impact upon us and that's legal.

    • @chickenneck75 Again that problem is hers to workout herself and not by us.

    • Yea your right let her do what she wants guess we should set up a tent and hand out clean needles to all the junkies that walk by. Yea it's her body but I know its morality wrong and you know it as well , she does to but we shouldn't make it easier telling her go for it ( it's your body) and us knowing she'll regret it. that's not right. but it's my opinion I'm just a nobody

  • Sur if they want to,

  • In any country that prostitution is legal, yeah. I don’t see why not.

  • Should they be allowed? Yes absolutely. Its theirs to do with as they see fit. Is it a good idea? No not really.

  • Should prostitution be legal?

    • YES LOL

  • I'm the guy who stands at street corners with a sign that says, "Will work for sex"

Personally, if a grown lady who fully knows what she is getting herself into desires to sell her body for sex then it is her right. I think it's an absolute shame that she will ruin what should have been a wonderful pleasurable experience on some douche bag who cares nothing for her. She cannot get her virginity back and it should have been given to someone she cares about but it is her body and decision that counts.

  • Should they? Of course, if they want to. Its their body. Can they? Depends on the laws regarding prostitution wherever they're trying to do it

  • Virginity is just a social construct meant to shame women who enjoy sex.

  • read your bible and ask God

  • That would be prostitution which is illegal in most places in this part of the world.

  • Sure, if they want to.

    • Are you virgin

    • @fat_loves34 nope

    • @fat_loves34 no, not when your profile image is a dick pic

  • Yes, but you have to call it something else or it sounds like prostitution.

    • It is prostitution

    • Exactly duh lmfao

    • Not if it’s for marriage.
