Somehow we got onto the fact I’d be spending the holidays without a significant other. If he did mean it as a joke it wasn’t very well executed but if he meant it in a serious way that’s not great, I think he likes you from what he said so I would say do what you think is right, I would tell her because you seem to care a lot about your friend but it’s really up to you at the end of the day.
