Taste of semen after vasectomy?

When my wife got pregnant with our third child, I decided to have a vasectomy as I was extremely fertile and we didn't want any more children. Everything went well, no complications or anything. Since then, my wife won't let me go off in her mouth because she says my semen tastes bad. She still goes down on me but I have to let he know when I'm gonna go off so she can pull back and make me go off in a towel or something. I miss that feeling as she used to do it often when she said my semen tasted good.

Has that happened to other men? Does vasectomy really change the taste of semen? I'm just curious.

the taste is semenal fluid minus the sperm... were the mechanics of a vasectomy not made clear to you?

I know how vasectomy works. I just didn't think it would change the taste of it.

well its bound to change the taste but also can i ask if your diet is the same... apparently asparagus makes it taste disgusting so could be something as simple as what you had for dinner

My diet hasn't changed really. We still eat relatively the same things.

its just the lack of sperm then thats altered it i should imagine. might be worth looking up foods that make it taste better and trying them to see if you can get her to swallow again

I had a vasectomy after my third kid. Ever since the taste of my semen has become milder, which is the opposite from worse.
