Topless sunbathing, what's your opinion?

Breasts are only sexual by societal ideas. The are beautiful and in summer you may actually find pure joy in going topless.

I started doing it when I was relaxing in privacy on top of my boyfriend's yacht. I enjoyed it so much it just became a regular thing. It was so uncomfortable I just took it off. I can't explain the relief you get once you pull off that horrible soggy material. It's an area that never gets to feel the air, never gets to see the sun, and now I could just quietly relax.

And to those of you concerned about male attention and what not, I find that men aren't going to look anymore than women do. Most guys, once they notice, they actually avert their eyes. The few that stare are probably just curious so it's harmless.

And in my personal opinion, breasts look really goddam weird with that little triangle hahha.

I don't see anything wrong with and I do it often. I will say that I don't think it should be done at every beach or swimming pool.

This is not because I find any obscene or offensive with an uncovered breast, but others do. I think I need to be sensitive to others and not just force people to view my body just because I am comfortable with it.

Topless sunbathing seems harmless to me. Boobs are so sexualized in our society. Women can't even breast feed in the open. What breasts are made for, is considered wrong and dirty to be seen doing. But it's fine to be let almost all your breasts show at times other than breast feeding.

As a nudist, I have to agree that it feels so much better to have fresh air and sun all over your body. I'm a proponent of the #freethenipple movement, giving women the choice to wear a top or not wherever men can go topless.

That used to be popular, way back when, before cameras in phones became a thing.

Almost the only women who still do it, at least in public, are those who started when they were in their 20s, about 20 years ago, or more.

It's old-fashioned, is my opinion on it.

Other than it should be in a protected setting (not at the city pool). I entirely agree.
If you have a good display, I see them as art appreciation. To avoid staring like a creep, I'll wear sunglasses and enjoy the view by sidelong glances.
Been to topless and nude beaches, once you get over the random boners, natures infinite variety is nothing less than fascinating.

Here we go again.
They aren't just sexualized by, "ideas", though. The notion stems from somewhere. A biological factor. Like a muscled upper body on men, shapely breasts on women signal virility and health, they also represent motherhood, an inborn quality men seek in women for the successful spreading of their genes, i. e. procreation.

I believe you are right because my wife doesn't like to wear bra, whether sunbathing or going our dressed. She feels being topless (and also nude) is relaxing.
