Hi, I'll be honest with you. I'm no expert here. Please don't "take my word" for anything BUT... my understanding of necrophilia is that it's a paraphilia--a sexual attraction to something 'strange' (in other words almost any fetish' is a paraphilia)
Generally, necrophilia isn't associated with violence necessarily (mostly). It CAN co-exist within the same individual who also has violent paraphilia. So it's not that necrophiliacs are violent. It's that some violent people are also necrophiliacs.
SO IN MY OPINION, the short answer to: will you be dangerous in the future is, "no".
Please don't take my word for this: but my understanding of the motivations for the development of necrophilia is related to a "fear of the judgment of others" as applied to sex/sexual performance. Again, do look this up for yourself, but basically It's the idea that a dead woman couldn't possibly pass judgment on 'sexual performance'
So whether its best understood through the lens of "fear of judgment/rejection"; or if its best to approach it from a "performance anxiety" lense. It seems to have elements of both of these as I understand it.
I really think your best bet is to do a lot of research yourself on necrophilia. Not so much the "open forum" variety (like GAG) but some serious research. There is A LOT of information on this from all kinds of perspectives: psychological, criminal-justice, sex and sexual health, anthropology and all sorts of varied aspects of the paraphilia are focused on in each.
You want more psychology-based and sexual health-based articles. You're looking for ideally "peer-reviewed academic journals" However, you won't be able to find those all that easily for free unless you're a student. In which case check the school's library website. The school likely subscribes to hundreds of academic journals you can access.
Even if you're not a student. Just make sure you're looking at high-quality, RELIABLE sources. Stay off YouTube for example.
There's a lot of information out there for you. I think that you'll feel A LOT better once you learn a bit more about what's going on with you mentally/emotionally/sexually.
If you've been putting off looking into the subject because you're frightened about what you might learn about yourself. I can say that you don't have anything to worry about. From what I remember from learning about this years ago... it's a "socially unaccepted" (for the most part) but fairly harmless paraphilia.
BUT again, I have NO special knowledge or training on this. I'm remembering some things from some university classes I took more than a decade ago. DO RESEARCH THIS.
