He wasn't very wise. Stress is about each individual handles tasks or situations. If you never care about anything, that could be quite dangerous.
I disagree! Nothing really matters so why stress about it, we all die and everything we do will be forgotten to the sands of time
"Nothing really matters" huh? Bullshit. I think it would matter to a mother if your shot her baby in the head. Besides, if you actually "believed" nothing really matters, you'd be a Satanist and living like one.
No really I don't believe anything matters. Life has no meaning other than what we give itIf I did shoot a baby in the head, give it 100 odd years and it'll be forgotten by 99% of the world give it 200 years and no body would remember on the grand scale of the universe we are nothing and everything the common person does will be forgotten so why care? Why stress? Just do whatever makes you happy at any time and force your will onto the universe because you are the only person that matters you are player 1. The main character and you should enjoy ever moments.Stressing about something, anything is simply you caring too much, if you didn't care you can enjoy every even the catastrophic fek ups
You believe this because you think you are here for x number of years and then you are gone, forever. I was wrong... even satanists know that's not true. You are a nihilist. Things matter to those who live through them. Tell you what … let's rip off your limbs and then see if you tell me "hey, it doesn't matter". But before we do that, if you're still sure nothing matters, I've got a few people I'd like you to make disappear.
I mean I'm the kinda person that drags gas cylinder along the floor in a kitchen (not recommend as that can sometimes make them bust) and still not give a fek and yeah I am a nihilist but that makes me free to do whatever I want whenever I want because it doesn't matter.True freedom is knowing life is meaningless and fragile that the universe doesn't care and its full of casual destruction yet many people put meaning to life so they feel like they have a purpose but deep down. You know you have no purpose. You wasn't born to do anything other than to continue the cycle of life and then die. Everything you do is simply killing time till your death and then a few generations down the line you'll be as meaningless as face back in the year 1500 because no one knows who his was and you'll join him after you die, so will I, so will 99.99% of all humans we are all faceless no bodies. So stress if you want worry and try to make your name remembered but it'll be in vain while you do that, I'll be busy doing whatever I want whenever I want and being dangerously chill to the point where I lose jobs for being "high all the time" even though I don't even smoke cigarettes or even drink alcohol because that shit is boring.
Correction: "... as meaningless as Dave back in the year 1500..."Autocorrect messed up
Dude … you're not "free to do whatever you want" BECAUSE you're a nihilist. Everyone is free to do whatever they want, but there are consequences for certain actions depending on your surroundings. Back to the baby example... we are both "free" to shoot that baby in the head. I choose not to. if you choose to do it, you will suffer the consequences of your "freedom" to have chosen that act. So while you're free to "do whatever you want and whenever you want", you will lose that freedom and more if you violate certain guidelines, unless you live outside of any given society. This is quite a simple concept, even for a nihilist, right?
While I agree society will punish certain actions however consequences come with freedom but to strip someone's freedom by trapping them in inhumanian in my eyes. Then again I believe democracy is a dictatorship with extra steps and a few more rules. But back to the baby example, if someone killed the baby, their freedom will be stripped sent the jail for like 50 years, that to me just proves that the government and society don't care for freedom. In my perfect world it would be better to kill them at least their soul would be free from the body and able to start again in a less enlighten animal, maybe a ant or anyway one of those jellyfish that keep reversing their age and live possibly forever without reaching enlightenment
The imprisoned man, who killed a baby and was stripped of his freedom, can always kill himself or let the inmates do it and free up his own soul to hopefully start again. Wherever you "think" you're going with your argument, it's going to end up in the same place. If you live in ANY sort of society, there will be rules restricting your absolute freedom or you will pay the price. If you live alone and never interact with any people, then you can argue you're free to do whatever you want, whenever you want, with impunity from mankind.
You're not wrong but you're not right, my motto is do whatever you want whenever you want however you want and who would want to kill themselves? That wouldn't be fun but if the other inmates do it then we'll at least he did what he wanted other than 95% of people fearing doing what they want because they fear losing the freedom they have even though that freedom is artificial because they don't do what they want when they want because you for some reason immediately went with killing a baby which is worrying and might be a good idea that you don't do whatever you want. However the statement is care less, be happier.
" … my motto is do whatever you want whenever you want however you want". So here we are back at the satanist's beliefs, worded slightly different. " Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law" is what they say. Just clarifying, you must be both a nihilist and a satanist. You don't have to practice ritual magic to be one, but your guiding belief is identical.
I mean, pretty sure I'm not a satanist because I don't think satan is it's own entity. I like to believe God and satan are the same higher diemensional being one being happy the other less happy but is lower diemensional beings see two vast difference entities!I also think we should formally agree to laws because being forced to agree to the law from birth sounds a lot like a dictatorship to me
In a true "democracy", the majority vote would rule anyway, so unless you had unanimous agreement on all laws, someone can say "that's a dictatorship". But most of the world's governments are representative Republic's operating in a "democratic environment", which is not the same as a pure "Democracy".
I have no idea what any of that even means so imma say "that sounds like a dictatorship with extra steps"
Well then you should look up what a "representative republic" is. Most all "free" countries are. That doesn't mean it can't be a corrupt system, but the idea is basic.
I should do a lot of things, but that doesn't mean I willNone of this has changed my mind on the original point thy stress is just caring too much
I should have stopped conversing when you used "imma" as a word. That's all I needed to know.
And that's why you matter.
