  • I don't know about head exploding, but I've had my share of stress.

I got an extremely well paying job when I was 26 year old. I was hired under a trainee program. For the first several years, I was really green and, as a result, my workload felt overwhelming. There were times when I didn't think I could cope.

Another instance was when a particular girlfriend and I broke up. I felt like my guts had been kicked out. I sometimes felt almost nauseous. It took me almost a year to get on with my life.

  • No, but my brother got so stressed out once that a vein in his eyes burst and the whites of his eyes turned almost completely red. It freaked him out a lot when I pointed it out to him and he looked in the mirror, but it also distracted him from the stressors so he was able to calm down after googling what it was and that it shouldn't cause any damage. Looked something like this. I can't even remember what he was so stressed about now.

  • Yeah... I've had even worse than that.

I'm actually allergic to stress. As weird as it may sound if I pass a certain threshold for a prolonged time I end up with rashes all over my body and itching, and ultimately end up in the emergency department...

It's been years since I had that though as I try to step back and relax when facing a stressful condition.

  • No... sometimes i feel i suffer from trauma with all the Ls I've tooken. I get tired of jealous women, or women trying to thwart my focus to success, and people attempting to leech. Double standards and being misunderstood. Last year i realized its better to be 100% loner for me.

  • Absolutely.

  • Bad migraine days

  • Stress is just you caring too much. A wise man once said.

The less you care the happier you will be.

    • He wasn't very wise. Stress is about each individual handles tasks or situations. If you never care about anything, that could be quite dangerous.

    • I disagree! Nothing really matters so why stress about it, we all die and everything we do will be forgotten to the sands of time

    • "Nothing really matters" huh? Bullshit. I think it would matter to a mother if your shot her baby in the head. Besides, if you actually "believed" nothing really matters, you'd be a Satanist and living like one.

  • Maybe, before. My brother gave me this book for Christmas, "The Subtle Art of Not Giving A FCK" and it has really helped me look at things that stress me out, and it surprised me, how many, really don't matter!!
    Get it, read it!

  • Probably at some stages in our life we have been there.
My advice is don't let it takeover by letting it takeover. Give yourself some time to have a meltdown (as much as you can) say I am going to get the "AHHHHHHHHHH" out of my system healtily then with your head clear I am going to adapt and face the issue. It is amazing how often the issue seems clearer and simpler after a good "AHHHHHHHHH".

  • Feeling that way right now

  • Yea it's rough

  • There is always something happening that makes me feel that way...😧

  • Yes where i live it's happened many times

  • I work a full time job, own a company and am in a position of power in multiple others. Sometimes I get so stressed I can't sleep. Usually I hop on G@G and answer questions, it's cheaper than therapy. Lol

  • A long, long time ago yeah.
