Guys do you like being called daddy during sex? Girls do you like using the term daddy during sex? Or is the whole thing weird.

As a general rule, it does nothing for me one way or the other. However, every now and then my girlfriend will say it to me and I have to admit that it turns me on.

We tend to a more raw and primal sex anyhow. Not is a BDSM kind of way, but in a very raw and instinctive sense. With me as the dominant alpha male and my girlfriend the submissive subordinate female. Not always, but generally.

I hate the idea and find it super weird/creepy/sad, especially since it comes pimps making their prostitutes call them Daddy. They would prey on vulnerable young girls who ran away from home, ostensibly purporting to be a caring father figure for the girls while periodically treating them very badly in order to keep their self-esteem low and create a strong psychological need for the "love" that their pimp occasionally showed them. It is a revolting, manipulative, destructive arrangement.

I never really understood the appeal, but a couple/few guys are saying the women who liked it were submissives, so that seems to fit.

It turns me on a lot. It's just a dominance/submission thing. I'm not into the sadism part of bdsm so you have S&M, masters & slaves etc. It's all dominance and submission but with different twists on it. The use of daddy to me is you still have the complete submission but without the sadism you might have some punishments for broken rules like spanking but it's minor stuff compared to other bdsm.
