I'm pretty much against it for babies, I dont think it should be banned but for parents that want it done but they should have to pay a lot for it since it's basically just for looks.

  • i have absolutely no idea why a jewish religious custom somehow became medicine? and if anyone dares tell me that it's good for the baby boy? fuck off and go cut a chunk of skin off of yourself and tell me it felt good! i am sorry but this is an issue that i can get seriously out of hand over. my brother was never circumsized and my mother made certain that me and my sisters knew why. because it's unnecessary mutilation! plain and simple! i hate the whole idea of it. and to every guy out there who had it done to him without his consent - i beg your forgiveness. and please people - stop hurting little babies that you claim to love? please stop. we are destroying beautiful men before they even have a chance! please stop doing that.

    • Best answer!

  • YES!

I am totally against butchering babies and I get excoriated every time I say so, but I don't care!

Let them decide for themselves when they get older if they want to.

I'll stop there and not say what I think should be done to anyone that cuts up a child because I might be banned from GAG!

    • I 100% agree with you!

    • Thank you for MHG Ms Apple and for caring about babies... you are so sweet!

    • No problem 😊😊😊😊

  • Well, isn’t it technically genital mutilation, in the sense that it is the removal and cutting of a part of the male reproductive organ? As for me, for a long time I thought that circumcision was done due to medical and sanitary reasons, but now I’m finding out that there might be more to it than that. I’m sure that there are medical professionals who are split in their opinions when it comes to this issue. I personally can’t say whether it’s truly useless, immoral, etc. because I’m not knowledgeable on this issue.

  • Well... by definition IT IS a mutilation. And yes, I’m against it, there’s no good reason to do it despite all justifications pro circumcision people have come up with.

  • I have nothing against it. I’ll leave the decision up to hubby

  • No, because if you don’t circumcise your make baby it increases the likeliness for infections down there. I read about it somewhere. I’ll send the link if I find it again. Also, baby’s don’t feel it when it happens. I just got a nephew and he didn’t even cry or wince when it happened.

    • * your male baby

    • I have two kids and didn't cut either of them

  • I'm a firm believer that routine infant circumcision is wrong and unethical and should be outlawed. Amputation of healthy erogenous tissue with no medical indication from a minor that cannot possibly consent is just plain wrong.

    • Great answer! Very well put

    • I feel like a lot of people make very emotional arguments for both sides of this debate- some circumcised men may think they're just fine circumcised or don't want to admit that they might be missing out on something potentially better. Some circumcised men blame their parents or society and resort to anger or grief to make their argument. Emotional arguments aren't easy to counter - to do so means invalidating that person's personal experience. And to be honest, if someone is happy being circumcised, good for them. That is why I always try to approach it from a more logical position. A man can get circumcised later in life if he choses to for himself, but you can't fully undo a circumcision later in life if you decide you'd rather be uncircumcised. Foreskin restoration is not easy, time consuming, and does not bring back the nerve endings, rigid band, or frenulum that were removed in circumcision. I didn't have my son circumcised, and in my friend group no male infants have been circumcised- mainly because it was discussed based on logic rather than emotion.

  • It is.

  • Leave the baby's genitals alone, I never understood why circumcision is even a thing.

  • Yes I do

  • Yes. It is the removal of the foreskin which is a part of the penis and is effectively mutilating that part.
Aside from that, it is the question of whether it was consulted about or consented before being carried out that really sets the tone of how you want this question to be answered or what the best answer to this question is.

Certain sources cite medical and/or hygienic reasons to promote or defend male circumcision in certain cases, aside from and more credibly than religious reasons and cultural customs. Others claim it is a dangerous procedure and has no benefits whatsoever to the person but only problems. I will be honest - I cannot verify sources for or against this argument as of yet so I will need to leave it at that for now.
My point is that I am more concerned about what the person has to say about getting circumcised more than anything for or against it like significant and hard outside influences like family, relatives, culture, religion etc.

  • Consider? It literally is just that.

  • It is interesting that they don't get a choice at an early age

  • Female circumcision they cut your clit off, or at least most of it. That’s disgusting and horrible. Male circumcision they just cut off your foreskin. I think.

@orangeandturquoise help me out here? That’s all I know about this subject.

    • Yes this is true but both are still painful. They say most boys dont cry because they aren't in pain but they acutally go into shock because the pain is so intense

    • That’s awful!!!

    • They use anaesthetic nowadays. In the past they didn’t.

  • yes it is

  • No, it isn't. Also, uncircumcised dicks are so ugly.

    • Coming from the troll.

  • I believe that non-medically necessary circumcision of anyone who cannot give consent is genital mutilation.

  • It's definitely a type of mutilation. It isn't on the extreme end of actually losing a body part, but it is a bit of skin that one is born with that is there because it's natural. Removing the natural part of the body is considered mutilation.

    • You said this perfectly! Thank you for your opinion 😊

    • No problem.

  • I'm circumcised and sex still feels great so that argument is shit. I don't conciser it mutilation because it doesn't affect anything really except it is easier to clean. Also I have never met a guy who wished his parents didn't circumcise him, but I do know a guy who got some nasty dick infection as an adult (which was very painful apparently) and had to get circumcised as an adult and he wished that his parents would've just circumcised him as a baby.

    • If you've only had sex being cut then you have no idea what it would feel like to be uncut so you really can't say that unless you've experienced both. And I know plenty of men that wished there parents didn't cut them as babies

    • Either way sex feels good. And I have never met a guy who actually cared one way or the other unless they got some nasty ass infection on their uncut dick.

    • No no trust me there are men that regrow their foreskins and are extremely passionate about it.

  • It is a religious tradition and cultural adaptation for cleanliness.
While it is alteration, it dies not seem to have negative effects.

    • My mom has those and they definitely are not mutilation. Especially since she wanted them and no one chose for her

    • Mutilation: "an act or instance of damaging or altering something radically" Merriam Webster. Voluntary, yes. Still mutilation.

  • Yes. But I wouldn't want that done as an adult. Id want it done as a baby.

  • So many Jewish babies in New York keep getting infected with syphilis or Hepatitis from the Rabbi, because when a Rabbi does it, they have to suck on the penis after they cut it. (On my mother's eyes, I'm not making this up, google it.)

Do you consider male circumcision to be genital mutilation?

I just thank God I was mutilated in a safe, clean hospital by a gentile doctor.

    • disgusting

    • @SuccessfulHornDog Dude, there have been multiple stories about little babies getting STD's from this shit, and it's impossible to prosecute the Rabbis or even stop them from doing it again. The Rabbis have more power than cops, judges, politicians, you name it. Jewish mafia OWNS the criminal justice system. They introduced circumcision to goyim so that it could never be used to identify them, they hide amongst the goyim like snakes hiding in the grass. Like I said, at least we do it in hospitals, and don't let some old Rabbi with cold sores suck our kids' dicks.

    • There should be a law requiring that anyone sucking on a penis as apart of circumcision should have his mouth sterilized whit boiling water first.

  • Female circumcision is wrong and useless. Male circumcision has very few disadvantages such as reduced sensitivity, compared to the advantages which are easier cleaning and less chance of cancer and infection.

  • I think it should be outlawed for infants, if an adult chooses to have the surgery done, no problem, that's their choice.
