Why do. people have oral. sex without condoms? Aren't they afraid to get an STD?

If the person hasn't asked for labs they are risking the chance of getting mouth cancer in the future from HPV if they haven't been vaccinated. There is really only a small group of adults that have been vaccinated. I mean mostly under the age of 30 probably. In my age group they don't even want to vaccinate. My doctor gave me the HPV vaccine even though supposedly I'm too old to catch it. My age group is one of the worst for wearing condoms and 27% of all new HIV cases annually in the U. S. are 50+ people. A lot of people not wearing condoms and Florida has a really HIV rate.

Herpes though, that's a sneaky bastard. Ton of people have it without having symptoms. It's my biggest concern of catching tbh

It feels a lot better but STDs aren't actually that worrisome. 80% of sexually active adults have HPV and 60% have herpes. Most peoples symptoms are just so mild they don't even notice. Syphilis, Chlamydia, and gonorrhea are all treatable. The only STD to really worry about is HIV and most cases are from sharing needles. Definitely ask your partner whether they've been tested but you shouldn't worry to much about STDs

Sex without condoms is much more pleasurable. I'm sure they're aware of the risks but willing to take them cause the sex is so much better. And for some, the risk itself is a turn on and heightens the pleasure. Some might think that's crazy but others feel like they could get hit by a car tomorrow and they're going to live their life and do what they want.
