i went to several strip clubs because i wanted to know what the big deal was. (background - i was a cage dancer and rave dancer in the 90's - paid/wardrobe, etc. i worked in some beautiful clubs with other great dancers and it was awesome! ) but i kept hearing about all of the money you could make in a strip club and people told me i could make a fortune. so i was very open-minded having danced half naked in a cage and sought out a bunch of different strip-clubs AND with different friends to see what it was really all about. turns out - heck i was very happy with the money i was making cage-dancing and i would have been spending my money in that very club if i wasn't working so - duh? why on earth would i ever need to strip? but i thoroughly enjoyed the 4 times i went to a strip club because every time all of the girls made certain to come over and do a special little dance for me and my best friend and her husband, or me and my other best friend and her boyfriend and the guy i was dating, or me and my other best friend just alone with my guy friend and then once when i was with my other best girlfriend and her husband. those strippers were some really fine dancers and they worked exceptionally hard! i was very impressed! but the taking off all of your clothes part was too much for me. but i learned and grew from going to the strip club and every time it was a good experience because of my friends and the dancers!

Yes, but it was never my idea. It was usually another couple inviting us to go along with them.
We'd pile into the car and cross over into Canada. It's much more wild in Canada, because they allow booze and the girls are allowed to bare all.
The hard pounding music, camaraderie, and booze is what made it fun. The actual show gets very tedious after about 20 minutes or so.
However, one of the couples we were with bought a lap dance for my boyfriend, and that was kind of fun to watch.
But overall, I'd say try it just once, and then save your money for better things.
The husband of one of the couples we went with said he was having a dance pole put into his basement, so him and his friends could watch his wife dance!
Now THAT, would be a horse of a different color. :)

Sure, but not for dances. I find the female form very beautiful and , if I'm feeling particularly low, it helps to surround myself in what I find beautiful.

If girls come up to talk I'll tip them (it's their job to flirt & pretend to make every customer feel like a sexual deity, I understand this) but I'm usually there for the atmosphere.

I have and love it. Of course I like the dances. However, I love talking to the women and hearing their stories. Finally, each woman I am having give me a dance is a woman I know is safe at that moment.

I did back in my college days, I'd visit with some of my girlfriends. The boys there would all want to take us home, while we never abused it, we didn't have to pay for many drinks, we would always tip the dancers more than the guys did, and get lap dances for free. Bonus we got to touch , made the guys so jealous. Have no desire to ever go back to one again.

Never visited one and never want to visit one. I don't want to say I'm disgusted by seeing women basically naked but it's not a view I like. And male strip clubs don't do it for me either. The guys usually look kind of gay and I'd be uncomfortable

Yeah all the girls I know IRL love it. It's basically the ultimate female empowerment environment. Lots of people find the strippers inspirational. They're hot and dancing naked for money, and guys aren't allowed to touch them (without permission).
