Oh yes. Leaving aside that my girlfriend and I have had sex in our otherwise secluded backyard from time to time, the most frequent ears to hear our sex - beyond our own - is that of our children. More than once.

We did something similar except that as you walked by the "nook" you could pretty much be seen without much difficulty. If you were ten feet away, you would not see us. If you were directly in the line between the beach and the nook, it was pretty obvious what we were doing.

We were on vacation, we were young - er, and we just didn't care. Our attitude was, "Hey, sex is natural and who cares if we are watched." A few people did.

Suffice to say, while we are still pretty easy going, we have mellowed a bit since then.
