Girls, Have you ever been called a slut?

Girls, Have you ever been called a slut?
According to my brother more men have been up me than the Eiffel Tower, this his poor attempt at humor.
One woman was called a slut by her date because she wouldn't have sex with him, which doesn't make any sense at all.
Calling a woman a slut is still used as an insult today and it always will.
It doesn't matter if you're a virgin.
It doesn't matter how many partners you've had or how long ago it was.

  • No I have never been called this. It's a vile thing to say to someone. And an easy, low blow. And quite often, a double standard, and completely unfounded.
I remember I was a young child and I referred to a young girl friend of mine at school as a slut. I said it to my mother. She asked me, "Do you know what that means?" I answered "yes" but I did not. I just knew that it was very cutting, and I was angry. I didn't say it to the girl. Guess I was testing it out. Eventually a few years later I learned what it really meant. I have never said it again, never will.
But are there people, both males and females, that objectify people, that treat them like an inanimate object that has mostly just one value or use? Absofuckinglutely. And I will never condone that. The opposing argument will be that we were once animals, and that is who we are at our core, and that men are made to 'spread their seed' to as many as possible, but that in no way invalidates the idea that we have the largest, most evolved brains on the entire planet, and in history, and we are more than bodies acting on impulse. 'Slut' is a term intended to degrade women specifically, and I think we should judge women no differently than we do men. But we really shouldn't judge, in general, should we. There is carnal desire, and there is conscious and considered thought. And we are a mixture of both. Calling a girl a slut is just too easy, like shaking the tree for the easy-to-get fruit. There's nothing really insightful, nor often even truthful about it. But some people love to cut other people down. A more biting criticism would be 'That person evidently has very low self-esteem and self-worth, and is probably looking for something, trying to fill an empty void deep inside them, but will it ever really be filled.' Now that is a real comment on their character. I watch reality TV and said this kind of stuff to the TV, but I would never say it to an actual person. It's their life, and not my or our business. (Except if you choose to go on TV for your 15 min of fame, then fair game, probably.)

  • I feel like hundreds of times online, very few times in person. Most people dont have the cohones when their looking you in the eye. Honestly it doesn't bother me like it used to, especially when guys call me that as if men aren't the biggest whores on the planet already😂

People are gonna fuck, its as strong an urge as needing air and food, so if attending to my needs makes me a slut then thats not an insult, its just a mundane observation and they can get over it.

  • Nope, "bitch" is my most mentioned moniker.

  • Many times, doesn’t really bother me. As I see it “slut” is just a term used by people who can’t get laid to describe people who can.

  • Only as a joke. Like a running thing within my friend group, when we'd hang out we'd always joke "we're going slutting tonight!" Say "Slut it up", "slut drop," you name it we probably said it. We call each other sluts, hoes, it's a compliment honestly. I don't care if people call me a slut. That's the goal.

  • My bestie and I used to jokingly call each other slut when we were in college. Other than that, I don’t remember ever being called a slut to my face.

When I got pregnant, I overheard one guy at work say to another, “See? I told you she’s a slut!” The other guy stuck up for me, said, “No she’s not. Dude, she’s married,” and I went in my office and cried. I guess it wouldn’t have been such a big deal if I really was a slut, but someone assuming I’m a slut just because I’m pretty and pregnant really hurt my feelings.

  • I was called a slut during my junior year even though I was still a virgin then. Mostly because I had been showing off some cleavage. Later in my senior year even more when I started to show the baby bump.

  • Of course, lol.
    didn't bother me because I knew I wasn't ✌

  • My earliest memory of being called a slut was at age 11, I was a virgin.

  • I used to get called a slut far more often when I was a virgin than I do now. Irony
