Is sexting with a random person on the internet cheating?

Some people mean that is not cheating as soon as you dont meet up and have sex or any interaction in person with that person. So i am curious what do you think about it?

It's cheating.
Whenever I get close to a guy, I stop texting others, I break off all contact and only focus on him. That way, we stand a chance. If the guy wants to meet me, I'm fully available. That'll never be the case if you continue texing others.
I don't have any close male friends, sexting is definitely cheating though because it's like porn but more personal. I also consider camming and paying for a particular camgirl cheating. That's no longer porn.
I have problems with boyfriends watching porn too, I know I cannot ban porn entirely, but I can voice my concerns.

If you're fine wiht sexting with others, tell him - if you're not, tell him too. Communicaiton is key.

As far as I'm concerned, anything that shows interest in another person, would sabotage or betray your relationship, and that you feel you have to sneak behind your partner's back is cheating. Anything from flirting to having sex.

in my opinion, once you start directly interacting with another person and making it in any way sexual, that's cheating. Porn, for example, is one-way - watching porn doesn't mean you have any direct contact with anyone involved. Texting someone, though, is creating some kind of a relationship with another real person, and that's where the line gets crossed.

I wouldn't consider it cheating per se, but it's something you should only do with your partner. Is your partner going to believe you don't actually want to have sex with this person you sext with? Of course not, and then trust has been destroyed over some stupid ass sexting.
