If the head of the penis goes in, would you consider that losing your virginity?

I know everyone has different ideas of what virginity is, an what it means to lose it, but I’ve always been terrified of having sex an the other day I decided to test it out with my boyfriend an he got the whole head of his penis in an gave a few gentle thrusts like that. I don’t really know if you’d consider that losing your virginity? lol

  • The virginity of the heart maybe, but the hymen would probably be intact, and so she would still be a physical virgin. Of course the virginity of the heart is most important. I dearly wish you young people would save yourselves for true love and get to know each other heart and mind for a few years through a few big challenges before you would marry and then hump. You have no idea what you are throwing away, and the consequences of it.

  • Well generally most people will say you don't lose your virginity until your hymen is gone, but that's just a physical way of determining it. If you have had some sort of sexual intercourse with a man, and you feel like you have lost your virginity, then you have. Losing ones virginity is more of an emotional thing after sex, so feeling like you have after some form of intercourse, then you have.

    • Hymen's can break riding a bike so not exactly a reliable way

    • Exactly

    • There is no hymen. That is an old myth

  • You lost your virginity. When it comes to sex think about it like this "can I catch a std or sti from this action?" If the answer is yes then you've had sex. And to make it worse he was in you and gave you a few thrusts babe sorry to tell you that definitely sex... like a possibility of pregnancy sex.

  • Welcome to the ‘no longer a virgin’ club. So next time just go the same careful way and let him move back and forth so you are very aroused. Now you will be an even happier non-virgin.

Well done you, not so scary after all...

  • I don't know, up to you. Technically you could count it as there is penetration, but personally I wouldn't count it if there wasn't an orgasm given that's the whole purpose of sex..

    • A lot of girls have sex multiple times and never achieve an orgasm. You cannot say they are still virgin.
