Are uncut guys supposed to be able to pull back their foreskin all the way back?

My friend started dating a guy and he’s uncut. They’ve had sex 3 times so far and each time she’s ended up with a mild case of BV or a yeast infection. They had both gotten tested in the beginning before sex and she’s gotten tested more time since. Neither one of them has any stds. But they do not use condoms. She thinks it’s because of his foreskin and is looking to break up wit him. He can’t pull it bak all the way but sometimes it gets pulled back when they have sex. This is her first uncut guy she’s ever dated and doesn’t know what to make of any of this. Plus she’s never had so much reoccurring infections having sex with just this one person. I’m clueless because so far I’ve only manage to date guys that’s been cut. Is this guys supposed to be able to pull his foreskin all th way back? Is this creating a case of hygienic problem?

  • It is important for somebody who is uncut to be able to pull their foreskin right back. I`m uncut but years ago my foreskin was so tight that i couldn`t move it back at all. When i used to have a bath i would pull it back until it just started to hurt and keep it there for a few seconds. Over a couple of months or so of doing that i was able to pull my foreskin back so that the whole of my penis head was exposed and i never feel pain at all from doing it now. My point being it is quite easy to stretch it if it is tight.
Obviously it is really important to keep it clean under the foreskin so that You don`t catch any bacteria or anything from it.
I clean under mine every morning and night and obviously after i`ve just cum.

  • Well I'm uncut but I can pull the skin all the way and looks like an uncutted at the date tbh , I'll say that practising how to pull it progressively when you are kid is what doctors reccomended since sometimes cases like this can happen, we as man also sweat down there too so it creates moisture and good habitad for bacteria , normal stuff that addresses regular bath and some good antibacterial soap like lifebuoy or protex , having sex without condom it's the risk of these infections too not only for the girl so might be good idea to use condom too , Infection treatments are more expensive than a textured condom tbh

  • If she is a smoker or douches too much or uses an IUD, this has been linked to BV. Yeast infections are linked to smegma under the foreskin, but if her boyfriend doesn't have any of this, then it's unlikely. BV can reoccur after an antibiotic treatment regime. So she may be simply reinfecting herself through sex... or from not using antibiotics long enough... If he can't pull his foreskin back all the way to clean it, this might be an issue. He can get a snip that frees his foreskin so it is easy to clean. Also, if she is being treated for BV, she needs to stop having sex until her treatment regime is over.

  • He probably has a lot of smegma from not properly cleaning. And smegma is what probably is giving you infections.
Smegma is a secretion of the oil glands around the genitals. For men, smegma often appears under the foreskin of the penis. In women, it’s most likely to appear between the folds of the vagina’s labia or around the clitoral hood.

    Smegma has several distinct characteristics:
    thick, cheese-like consistency
white in color (can be darker depending on natural skin tone)
    unpleasant smell

  • I'm uncut but at 16, I intentionally pulled back by foreskin and exposed the head. It has been so since then.

After a decade, it seems that my foreskin grown "slower" and now, cannot cover my entire penis when I push it forward, particularly when I'm erected (it only covers half the head).

So for my case, my foreskin is ALWAYS "pulled back" whether I have sex or not.

  • Sounds more like he isn’t properly cleaning if he can pull his foreskin back. He should be checked out.
If I were your friend, unless I was head over heels for the dude, I’d break up

    • I am uncircumcised but my foreskin is very tight. What is your advice to me for cleaning

    • @Star_19 cotton swaps. Making sure you get in all the little folds

    • What do you thing about circumcised

  • A foreskin that doesn't retract constitutes a medical condition called phimosis. It is unhygienic. It is fixed with a circumcision which removes the entire foreskin. Alternatively a "dorsal slit" can be done to allow the foreskin remain and to retract for cleaning.

  • What do you mean by all the way back, its not meant to be pulled back all the way to the balls, but be able to be pulled back fully over the tip (the glans of the penis).

    • What? No not to the balls. Wtf. I’m talking about pulled all the way back to expose the full head of the penis. 🤦🏽‍♀️

  • if he can't pull it back all the way he need to seek medical advice because that isn't usual at all... there is no reason a normal uncut penis should cause any different health issues for a woman than a cut one

  • I can pull mine fully back and have never given my girl a infection lol

  • If he can't retract his foreskin he most likely has lots of smeg and bacteria under the foreskin he needs to get circumcised or she should dump him before she has a serious problem.

    • I'm sure there is a snip that will loosen the foreskin so that it can be properly pulled back... It's probably due to some tight attachment to the frenulum.. But if he can't after an examination... he'll need to get circumcised. Lots of guys with this too tight problem, which should be resolved by about age 8, need circumcision. No more issues.

  • Oh my God. This. Is. Why. We. Circumcise!
No bacterial infections. No stink dick. No recurring problems.
My brother had to be circumcised because of problems with his foreskin. Cut that ish off!

  • She needs to tell him to wash his dirty dick. That's the problem.

  • As an adult, the foreskin must be able to be retracted and stretched all the way down the shaft. If he is unable to painlessly retract his foreskin, he should see a GP. The rule should be "no retraction, no sex". I know this sounds brutal, but she should be able to inspect the hygiene of the penis behind the foreskin.
The foreskin will be forced back during intercourse. The big question is if it can be safely and painlessly recovered to the forward position.

  • I honestly don't know! I'm circumsiced... I don't have that problem!

  • You can pull it back all the way and you're supposed to clean everything under there. Damn, if he does not pull it back, there must be tons of smegma under there. You could probably make cheese out of it at this point.

  • Yes, one should be able to pull it all the way back. Otherwise the guy needs a circumcision for medical reasons.

  • Yesh mine was tight before but it got loose from all the use. Now when its erect i berly notice the foreskin is there. And yeah its a highenic problem i think its precum build up he's nasty.

  • Yes it's creating a really bad case of hygienic problems because it's not cleaned right

  • Usually men are able to do it.

  • Generally u should be able to pull a foreskin back. Some men have tight foreskins so cannot pull it back. In circumstances like this circumcision may be necessary. Otherwise there should be no issues. I accept that when there is a medical reason to do it then circumcision may be necessary, if it is not medically necessary then there is no need to mutilate a baby boys genitals.

  • Baby wipes

  • Because he isn’t able to pull it back to properly clean there then he is probably getting some type of bacteria collecting and causing the yeast infection. Maybe he should just use a condom to have sex with her and not cause her any more infections

  • Yes, he should be able to pull it all the way back, and he should be regularly cleaning it.

Either this guy has a medical issue, or he's not hygienic.
