Why do some people hate vaginal discharge so much?

I've noticed that there are many misconceptions about vaginal discharge out there from both men and women and wanted to ask you WHY you hate/like vaginal discharge.

Some people believe that it is not natural or gross, but discharge actually cleans the vagina and also makes sex more enjoyable. Discharge comes from glands inside your vagina and cervix and has nothing to do with menstruation.

Why do you like/hate vaginal discharge?

I really like the fact that the vagina is constantly cleaning itself and I'm totally cool with the normal secretions that come out of it.

It is what it is. I certainly don't hate it and I can fully understand its role. I am pretty sure that when I give oral I get to taste and even swallow some. Not my fav taste in the world, but yeah don't hate it either
