For men it's not so bad as long as you can deal with the pressure of everyone demanding sexual behavior that often runs contrary to what you may actually want to do. But the steady supply of young butt-horny dicksuckers probably makes up for it.

For women, it takes a certian state of mind to not be subsumed by the attention. While it is easy money up front, if a girl starts to entertain the thought that this is what she could do with her life, that's where the problems start. Porn isn't a backup plan - it is necissarily a temp job for women, which they simply don't get offers for after the age of 30 or so (unless they have a history with a producer or something).

A job with some potential emotional and/or physical dangers in not careful.
Rough life in that there is a stigma attached and could follow a person when they get married and have kids.
It's probably bad if the person who is doing it feels bad about doing it, degraded, or has unresolved emotional issues from the past.
