The reason you saw a billboard for female sex toys is because of basic commerce and marketing, women buy the vast majority of sex toys so they are the best market to target. Similarly if you saw a billboard for handbags it would focus on women and a billboard for power tools or suits would be aimed at men. What's the problem with that? Are you seriously suggesting every advertiser needs to focus on an equal percentage of men and women even when they make most or all of their profit from one of them?
