Yes,  this is real . If you haven't heard about it, a 2D anime girl signed up on chaturbate as a camgirl. If you don't know what a camgirl is or what chaturbate is, a camgirl is a person that goes on livestream webcam and basically does sexual acts for tips from general people. Chaturbate is a host site for said camgirls.  It's a real woman (with her real voice) using motion capture technology to more-or-less be a sexual 2D camgirl. It's the same as a normal camgirl I guess... except totally virtual. So far, the internet from what I've seen has reacted in a mixture of jokes, positivity, and a bit of "wtf is this." The cartoon aspect of the characters would not attract me unless they approached realistic enough to be erotic, perhaps on this level. I tend to like Hentai stills for that reason. Girls can do more things, cheerfully/voluntarily, not acted. And the artist gives them much more "flexibility" than a human can offer.

But there is coming a time when photo realistic 3d is going to replace flesh and blood porn for that same reason. These girls will look just like the girl next door...

As much as I like anime characters... That is really weird... not to mention I don't like when they treat them that way. (Using them for sexual stuff, etc.)
