Why is it that even though I’m of age, I worry about watching porn because I think the police are going to come? I don’t understand why I have that fear... is it normal? I was never told it as a kid, so it doesn’t stem from that.

Partially disagree with you. You may have consenting adults but there are still a number of sections in that perverted industry that are illegal in some places of the world.

The owners of the websites that hosts those ilegal videos would be charged, or the website itself banned from streaming in those coubtries; nobody takes legal actions againsts thousands of users with unique IPs. Stop scaring her

You know as well as I do that there is not one single day where there is not a police raid against a number of people that distribute, respectively own that type of material. You need not be a master criminal to find that type of material on tor**** sites which are accessible to anyone that can spell and operate a mouse.

Watching pornography may be illegal in a number of countries and quite a large section of the porn is illegal too.

Therefore I would say that your fears are justified and I would refrain from watching it if you are uncomfortable about it.

You know that pirn is basically unhealthy because people that watch porn seem to think and believe that what they see is a reflection of reality. We all know it is not!

I know it’s not. As I mentioned in a comment below, I don’t watch porn often at all. Maybe 3/4 times a year?

If watching that type of visuals is not forbidden in your country or does not interfere with religious beliefs and does not contain what would be reprehensible by law, then my best bet is that you are relatively safe
