Do you find it sexy when girls place their hands on their hips?

You know it's ironic, I had a guy friend in college warn me against putting my hands on my hips because it made me look "intimidating" and unapproachable.

Mind you, I still do it because it's a convenient place to rest my hands, but I still remember him saying that and how it makes me look mean and unfriendly... so I'm sure if he felt that way, other men might feel the same way :|

I think it depends. It can be very sexy or intimidating depending on how someone does it. Usually with a more fluid motion and putting hands on the hips or away from them only one hand at a time, without a lot of forced movement is much more sexy and regal than just forcefully doing the opposite, which can come off as a bit aggressive.

No, but I don't find it un sexy either. Is sometimes a really good posture for modeling, though. Neither I do find it aggresive... It's just very comfortable to put the hands around the waist and let them rest on the hips.

My husband & our friends call it the "bitchy diva pose" whenever they see my do that. I wasn't consciously aware I was doing it until someone tells me, "I love your pose Dee. Hot!"
