Question

My friend told me that when you fantasize about someone while masturbating, you're actually having spiritual sex with them & exchanging energy with them.
She said that some normal-looking people are actually demonically possessed, so if we fantasize about those people, we are inadvertently having spiritual sex with demons.

I am not a believer in any of that and I believe she is full of crap. Some people entertain themselves by coming up with whimsical stories and supernatural connections to get you to react or see if you are dumb enough to go along. If they are the type of person that knows they are bullshiting you and you play along like you believe it's real, they're probably thinking 'what a dumb-ass because I'm making this shit up and they actually are saying it's happening too.' Try to find someone that is a target of the masturbation and without letting them know anything, ask them if they feel a certain energy coming from the person doing the masterbating. Anything unusual? Probably not.

Though I must make it clear, I have been studying spirituality, paranormal and a small amount of demonology for 4-5 years, and it is possible for demons to possess people, I've witnessed that myself, and it is true that when you think of someone strongly enough in you mind, you can create a spiritual connection with them, and this can lead to transfer or trading of energies, especially while masturbating, but the connection has to be at a certain point or certain strength when you can almost see them in front of you, like a hallucination or lucid or vivid dream, just thinking of them can work but doesn't always occur with a connection

I'm a spiritual person., but this is pushing it a little too far with the whole demons thing. I believe this Thoughts are powerful we are all interconnected sometimes you have cord attachments. When you think of someone in that way your actually getting into their aura-energy field. Maybe they can't get you off their mind cause your both thinking of one another. This also relates to "Psychic Attack" just gossiping about can mentally effect the individual, they may not know it at the time but thoughts are real. You must be careful. I'd say its okay to think about a crush every now and again but don't become obsessed, if you really want them let them go.

I would hope not. I don't think any of us fully know what goes on in someone's else's head but I don't think one will get something negative off someone. Now one might get disgusted and sickened if we find out that there is another side of that person.

I went to a concert a little over a year ago and now the singer is in prison for sex crimes. I was pretty sickened by the details of his crimes as well as many other guys who were involved in such crimes and shared about it like it was nothing.

My thoughts, as a Buddhist no. A fantasy is something you have that's locked away in your own inner space, the energy if you want to call it that is focussed on you, your wants and needs and your pleasure, not the other person or their pleasure.

You aren't then sending anything out into the ether but directing it to your inner self.

As an additional point there is actually no scientific evidence that your friend is correct and it's just nothing more than an idea they are tossing around, pardon the pun

Thinking about someone can change your mind, it can also change how you react when you see that person, and it can eventually change your and her behavior. No need to define a mystic "energy".
