  • Yeah, there's no real difference. At frat parties girls tend to take over both the girls and guys bathrooms because there are so many more of us trying to pee than guys (and they have bathrooms in the frat house that only they can get to anyways). No big deal. When I slept over at a guy's dorm once, he lived in an all-guys dorm. I had to pee, and he said I could just use the guys community bathroom. There were a couple guys in there, and I wasn't sure where the urinals were (I didn't want to look in the wrong direction) so I just kept my head down and quietly slipped into a stall. The guys did notice and kinda laughed about it (probably just because there are few reasons a girl is in an all-guys dorm that late at night) but ultimately didn't seem to care. I live in an all-girls dorm, and same thing, girls on my floor will have guys over and don't want to send them all the way down to the lobby to find a guys restroom, so they just use our girls community one. I don't care. It really doesn't bother me. It's not like I walk around the bathroom naked anyways, and everyone is literally just trying to pee, not be weird.

In public places like stores and restaurants, I don't tend to use the opposite restroom. People definitely give more side-eye for that. If I'm really desperate, I'll look around at the few people also waiting and be like "does anyone care if I just go in there?" and motion towards the other bathroom, and nobody ever cares but that makes it not awkward.

  • I have. When a guy tries to though we throw him out.

  • I've done it before. I always announce by knocking on the door and saying "hey mens room is out of order mind if I use the ladies room?" Because if it makes someone who might be in there uncomfortable then I won't do it.

Plus I'm an adult and can share a bathroom without being a peeping tom.

  • I don't care. If you gotta go, you gotta go. Do your business and be discreet and quick about it and no one is likely to have a problem.

  • Squatting over a urinal gets you funny looks

  • It's a one person bathroom yes I have. If its public with more than one stall no

    • why multiple stalls not

    • Because then it's a public bathroom rather than private. Private bathrooms I can lock the door.

    • the only thing public in public restroom is corridor and sinks. In stalls you also be private

    • Show All
  • I have used the other gender’s toilets before. I’m a naturist and the club I go to shares toilets and I have absolutely no problem with that at all

  • I have and I've seen it. When you got to go you got to go.

    • when it is not an emergancy but you dont want to lose your time

    • If it's not an emergency would just hold it. Still wouldn't care if a woman did as long as she knew what she was in for. In my experience most men don't really care and were really respectful.

  • Yep. I have before. I don’t care. If you got to go you got to go.

  • I do.

  • If I had to go really bad and it was a restroom where only one person could go at a time.

  • I wouldn't, but if a woman did it I wouldn't care

  • I would wait.
but if I saw some lady in the men's room I wouldn't care at all

  • I have quite a bit, its always been a restroom you can lock a door, like a 1 person deal.

  • I have done it and seen it done. Don't really care about it

  • Not the first time I've had to use other genders restroom but I make sure it's empty first.

  • I have done that before, but I was a kid and desperate.

  • It's kind of obnoxious, especially now that they have All-Gender bathrooms too.
