Why is there more submissive men than dominant women?

I've always wondered why there is much more men with submissive fantasies than women with dominant fantasies. Also, does that just mean that women are boring in bed?

Down to evolution. Men have testosterone women have estrogen. Our brains are wired differently. Men build muscles faster they are the physically stronger sex. You go out and attack animal for food women use their intellect to make sure you don't die. Women can perceive more colours as certain shades of berries were poisonous and we needed to spot that. You needed to build weapons and have high stamina to defend and kill. Men are more violent and get off to the risk and contact sport. We like to be more logical.

Also women are usually the ones who take care of children that means it's the men's job to attract a female. That is done through dominance muscle and skill. In the modern era that isn't as desired we are a more monogamous society so we look for more intellectual men with personality. There are some things we can't get rid of like our submissive nature or dominant natures. It does depend on upbringing but a submissive woman is more common than a dominant. Most people today are a bit of both but one side is stronger than the other

Oh sorry I misread the question. There are many reasons as to why men are becoming more submissive. The way our society as developed and who played important roles in the upbringing of that particular man. It could be that the women in his life were more dominant making him think that he had to be more submissive or men can be switches little bit of both? And I'm sorry that your sexism blinds you from seeing different perspectives but women do tend to be more logical and men are more impulsive that's just our brains work

absolutely not! men are WAY more logical than women. the difference is that men are more aggressive and bigger risk takers because of testosterone. many people say that guys are becoming more feminine and girls are becoming more masculine, but that still doesn't explain why there are more men with role switching fantasies than women.

Yes it does. Femininity has submissive connotations and Masculinity has more dominant connotations. I think it's just becoming more acceptable for men to be a little more submissive and women to be a little more dominant

I might not have a PhD but I think I have a pretty decent understanding compared to most my age if you really want to get a professional perspective you should read sigmund Freuds work ( I'm sure he could give a more accurate explanation) or Alfred Kinsey's work (he mainly focuses on sexuality)

Some women are aggressive when meeting men but submissive during the sex part BECAUSE they're so attracted - they want to 'give themselves over fully'.

I actually can't stand that. I love women who approach men and come on to me but can't stand basic submission. Some submission yes, but not "lay there" submission.

Yeah I've noticed this too. I think its cuz women have lower sex drives so they are less likely to take control during sex. In my realtionship I have the higher drive so I tend to be more dominant and my husband has the lower drive and is submissive
