Me (30) and my wife (31) have been together overall since 2005. We have two daughters together who are 14 years old and 1 year old.

Last night me and my wife had sex and our daughter heard us. Our 1 year old doesn't know what's going on but I think our 14 year old is traumatized and won't talk to us.

How should we handle this?

She isn't traumatised, probably just grossed out like anyone would be at the thought of their parents having sex. I'd just ignore it, it's really not a big deal she's just being a teenager and I don't think anything you say will make it better, just add to the embarrassment.

u dont need to talk to a 14yr old about what sex is... anyone with half a brain jus knows what it is by nature, dna and instinct... how do u think animals learn what sex is?
their parents dont tell them about it... their instinct jus tells them... we humans are the same... its jus a common misunderstanding that we must talk to our children about it, but thats not true, we dont need to talk about sex with them, its not needed,

maybe u can teach them about protection, condoms, and sti's... but most schools and internet does that for them anyway
