Why do male rapers rap about women being whores but in real life they are promiscuous and cheaters?

I dont understand why these man hoes dare to rape about women being sluts but at the same time many of them are cheater and promiscuous. It is ok in their lyrics when theyself are promiscuous or being a cheater but as soon as their partner cheat on them, they rap how much they want to kill their cheating partner like eminem has done in his rap song "kim". I hate so much how they romanticize promiscuous men and also it is ridiculous how their fans aka cock suckers are supporting this shit.

I think a lot of that is shock value, and especially the stuff about killing. I had some rap fan friends in high school, and much of the lyrics of the songs they liked seem to just be for shock value, and is probably the reason why they liked it, too.

Kim Mathers NEARLY committed suicide because of this song, but thankfully didn't actually kill herself and is still alive. I agree the song was beyond trashy, inappropriate, and just awful. I can't imagine how their daughter would feel about hearing it. I'm not sure that it's illegal since it probably falls under "freedom of speech", but it could come across as borderline threatening.

Yes, it falls under the First Amendment (freedom of speech). Though, if something is perceived to be a threat, I believe in certain circumstances some course of action could be taken against him. Since it's just a song, however, I'm not sure it could.

Yes, it's kind of a double-edged sword. On one token, you either have freedom of speech or you don't, and once it starts being limited, it can get out of control, but on the other token, there's pretty much nothing you can't say besides actively threatening someone. If one of his fans did something, they would definitely be prosecuted, however. I'm familiar with Eminem, but not really his fans so much. I know there was quite the uproar about this song, if I'm not wrong, though. There was another song that was related to this one as well, called '97 Bonnie and Clyde.

Eminem is different from most rappers. First of all, he's white. In US society, that has cultural connotations that differ from black rappers and also caters to a different audience. Second, Em has sexist lyrics and also has deeper lyrics like Love the way you lie, so he is not the most representative example of rappers.
