When looking at the opposite sex what is the first thing that grabs your attention?

many people are into physical attracions others are into emotional. what is the first thing you notice in someone when meeting them

Fashion sense... not just cloths, but that as well. Reasoning is I'm going to gather a lot of information about her from it. Like nails, makeup, surprised eyebrows painted on, and obviously what is it meant to attract in her direction.

As far as sexual selection it basically boils down to physical health. Excessive makeup will raise suspicions of what's being hidden and things like high heels make me think height is is quite an issue for women... although my wife tells me that heels has a lot to do with butt enhancement.

All in all if there is a bit much effort into being attractive, outside of say physical fitness, and more on the side of what can be painted on... well... I get a certain impression when trying to be impressed too hard.

If I don't know the person and I just saw her I would definitely be attracted to her looks (body shape, her walk, face, hair...) When I get closer to her I would focus more on the details, like the glow in her eyes, her lips, her smile, her neck. Now, if we're already started talking, then I would start looking for her interests, personality, sense of humor and so on

His expression/face. Basically I try to go by his body language- it's a good way to gauge if he's approachable or not.

If he's smiling, making good eye contact, and relaxed, I'm more likely to talk to him than a guy that's frowning, looking away, or seems distracted/spaced out.
