I am a virgin people!!! I dont spend all my time on the internet and it's not like I research the female anatomy. It hardly matters what I think because women dont like virgins regardless. I would prefer a virgin, but at my age that is unlikely. So I guess guys like me are undesirable anyway.

  • Male here. I don't blame you for thinking the way that you do. Basically "used" goods with some mileage on them (Note I had not said "damaged" goods). Ideally I would had preferred my first time with a virg (yes intentionally misspelled). The thought of her being with other guys does not make her a slut or a whore. For me, it has created an unhealthy phase of retroactive jealousy and making me feel more insecure than I should have. I resented her because I had literally NO experience and here she comes in acting like she ran the gauntlet. The fault lies within myself because I allowed her external past life to affect me. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't pursue a relationship at all. Body count of a girl still acts as a deal breaker for me - well I am sure for a lot of other men out there as well.

    The thing with me was that over time, I've developed a degree of apathy, which had become a necessary shell for me as a way to "protect" myself against the self-loathe, depressive thoughts, the jealousy. For me to create this apathy was for me focus on myself more (I know I should have done this more from the get go since all my friends were telling me to not break up with her, but instead focus on myself).

    I don't think my friends understand what it is like to be a virgin and commit to staying with someone that had experience before you. To me (at the initial stage of the relationship), I had felt entitled and sort of cheated out of an opportunity to her virginity (which I am not - but felt that way).

    The interesting thing I had taken note about this (as I write this post), is that I am very fascinated by my way of thinking. I had always wondered where the root of all human thought process came from. I had always wondered why I felt jealous of her past. I never understood why I let myself suffer mentally (and unnecessarily at that).

Their first time experience was done and over with and they are NOT with that same person they lost their virginity to (meaning they are with someone else now).
