Is sex (or masturbation) for you the most pleasurable thing you can experience?

Or do you know other kinds of pleasure that you personally could compare with the sexual or that even beat it for you? (no drugs, no substances, no mushrooms! That's only about natural things, that don't affect your health negatively)

Sexual pleasure is the most intense thing that a human can experience without the influence of drugs. I don't recommend drug use as a healthy way to gain pleasure and definitely dont condone it. But, to each their own.

What do you mean? Sexual pleasure is the most pleasurable thing a human can experience without drugs as an evolutionary trait to compel people to find a partner and have children. Other things can be pleasurable, like sneezing has 1/8th the pleasure of an orgasm, and eating when you're hungry makes you feel good as well. All these things feel good so someone will go out of their way to do these things. It's just how people and animals work.

That's the basics. But taking into account that science is just a way of explaining and modelling things we observe and that a model can never be completely indentical with the reality we could think, that there could be some lacks in the todays theory.

And indeed for me personally the experience of being in the forest lying on the ground and staring at the sky on a good day feels much more intensive than having an orgasm and much more "taking the conciusness away", letting to forget everything and to melt in unbounded happiness.

We didn't learn to measure spiritual pleasures. But you could, if you wanted to, put everything back into scientific context, I highly doubt there were ever experiments conducting that prove a human couldn't cause the same processes in his brain that run during an orgasm or after taking drugs. My theory suggests even more: what I'm doing lying in the forest, scientifically viewed, is causing reactions on the neuronal level, that naturally are caused by preceding chemical reactions, I'm recreating the patterns. The outside of this is then a kind of thinking without words of things "that spiritually turn me on:)" putting them in mind impulses that account for relaxation, feeling of harmony and feeling of happiness. So if you want to look at it from the scientific frame, nothing that I mentioned can't be explained scientifically, but it still has something mysterious just because science didn't get yet to research properly such things as controlling or manipulating of processes in mind. I myself prefer to think about it only spiritually and use scientific approach only in such conversations, because that makes life and perception of it more diverse to exchange both ways of thinking from time to time.

Well no matter what the things you enjoy are, an orgasm is the SINGLE most intense pleasure someone can experience. An orgasm releases the largest amount of the chemicals in your brain (mostly serotonin) that tell you that you are feeling pleasure. Doing things you enjoy may release more serotonin over time, but an orgasm produces the most serotonin possible in the human mind.

And we can go further. There are then ways to cause processes that are even more plesurable than the known ones, what I actually do, maybe processes that just don't happen to happen in nature, because no natural human or brain reactions on something from the outside world could cause them. This kind of unnatural made feelings is what I experience then melting into nothingness and feeling the absolute harmony, if we want to use science to desribe that, they are that. Which scientist could state seriously there are no such ways? No one. And the science is yet to discover, that it restricts itself to much thinking if the system is good, then the system necessarily includes almost everything and nothing significant is forgotten (not an actual belief, but the unconciouss dominant thinking in science expressed mostly in actions, so not really "thinking")

It's a well known fact that unless you artificially increase and stimulate your serotonin glands that the single most pleasurable thing is an orgasm. Not to say that other activities don't make you feel happier over time.

wait, increasing serotonin is a chemical reaction. As I said I would think, what I do is to adress directly the next level. The scientists have proved one thing, as I understand, they didn't find another way to cause extreme pleasure except of increasing serotonin or they proved: the serotonin increase is the only WAY FROM OUTSIDE to cause pleasure. But what if you go on the level, where YOU DO the things in your brain, that happen after serotonin increase. You create a kind of virtual serotonin increase causing in your brain to happen, what happens after serotonin glands are increased without increasing them. But I don't know how exactly that works, I'm just trying to find a reasonable explanation why it works.

I mean, drugs are that way to artificially increase serotonin amounts in your brain. That's why drug rehabilitation is such a difficult things for many druggies because they know they will never be able to feel the intense pleasures they felt while on drugs ever again in their life, unless they start doing those drugs again.

Yes, I supposed you mean that. Maybe one has to search for the explanation by investigating unknown ways to increase serotonin. I don't know. But from my experience I can say for sure, people can experience more intensive pleasures than sexual.
