Technically speaking, rape is any non consensual sex and at least by Australian legal standards, consent has to be a verbally expressed clear desire to engage in sex. So if you want to stop at any point or say no, then any further is technically rape. BUT, I don’t really understand the continuing for a few seconds things. If you were genuinely scared that he would keep going and ignore you, then I’d take a step back from the relationship or if you feel comfortable doing so, discuss it with him.
But without understanding the dynamic of those few seconds, it’s hard to say.

It would have in most states IF he carried on and forced you to have sex, after you said no. Remember though, this is a legal, not a moral matter, we're talking about. If you wanted to "prove" rape in a court of law, you would have to demonstrate you did more than say a simple "no". Don't blame me, that's law.
