What is it about being too eager or excited that is a turn off in the early stages of talking to a girl?

There is a fine line between eager/exited and desperate/clingy.
Most people do not realize when they cross that line, but thats usualy the moment when you get turned down.

  Do you really think most people can’t tell? I think we can feel it if we are over reaching I think it’s mostly usually just a matter of unequal interest I find A person will feel clingy if you are not into them. Rather than a matter of what They do~ except in extreme cases but most people don’t do that.

  I really think that there are a lot of people who can't exactly tell when they cross the line precisely. Yes, they understand when they get turned down or ghosted they did something, but it's a bit to late then. Some people just get overexcited, cross lines and only later see (or not) what they did. Also don't forget that there are people who have issues reading social ques and online it is even harder than IRL.

  Okay, actually I guess the definition says 'great need OR desire' so I guess technically excitement = a great desire for, which technically satisfies the definition of 'desperate.' Desperation is defined as 'hopelessness or recklessness' so I guess I satisfy the later. I'm like that with everything though.
