South East Asians seem to accept it in their culture as more mainstream than in the west.

it is not a very far sighted and sustainable profession because in a profession you strive to constantly hone your professional skills and increase your market value to make more money. this isn't possible in the prostitution profession.

i mean certainly you can get "better" at what you do over time, no doubt about that. the problem is that your body will naturally degrade, deminishing your value so that this sort of career is not sustainable even if you do your best to get more professional and therefore it's not valid long term.

I've been to a few cities in Thailand and seen a lot of prostitutes. They are beautiful physically and have an amazing culture. I have the greatest respect for them and I take my hat off to them. What they do doesn't look easy at all - to leave their village and family and to send all the money they have back home.
