This is actually quite a complex question. It seems that women only find about 20% of guys sexually attractive. For fairly sound evolutionary reasons, guys find about 80% of women attractive enough for sex. It makes evolutionary sense to impregnate any available female.
So guys may only sleep with girls they are "attracted" to, but that means most other girls.
Of course, many guys have ethical or moral viewpoints that override that - but I wouldn't bet against evolution.
