When I used to do it, we only did sexual stuff with each other as part of the sexting if I really cared about them or had feelings for them or both. Otherwise it was just like we were laying there masturbating together while we described how we were touching ourselves or one of us (usually me) told stories about our past experiences to help get us turned on.

No, my style can be the latter in a roleplay sense but always has direct instructions. Depending on who is dominant ill either give or receive them although both at once is great to. Ill tell her exactly how i want her to touch herself and actively judge how she is feeling based on her responses. With that i either make it more intense or give her some relief by letting her do something to calm her down a bit.
