  • How old are you? 18-24 is a big range when talking about being interested in 16-17yos. The general rule of thumb for the youngest you can date is half your age, plus seven. That doesn't mean you're necessarily a horrible person if you go under by a little bit, but it's generally a pretty good guide in terms of emotional maturity and informed consent, and I feel that it's a good idea to follow it quite strictly. By this logic, if you're 18, you probably shouldn't date anyone younger than 18/2 + 7 = 16. To answer the question, you're fine in this case. If you're 24, try to go no younger than 24/2 + 7 = 19.

  • The question is why? Most women that are attracted to older guys are that way because they feel being ilder it gives rhem more control, norepower over the relationship. Does 5his sound like you? Do you have a history of being dominated by guys. It could be a defwnse mechanism
