None of those things have anything to do with a crush. A crush is an effectuation based on your hormones, but it has nothing to do with whether or not you want to have sex with them or not. But it has to do with what you personally consider yourself willing to be attracted to. It plays a role in how you grew up, you views and values about the opposite sex, and how you believe relationships are.
If you like being around them, that means you enjoy their company. It means that they make you happy, and you feel safe with them.
If you feel you want to have sex with them, then that's just simply you lusting after them. Lusting is a sin, because sex is something that should be sacred and it's not something that you want to toy around with. otherwise you would have yourself toy around with.
If you feel protective of them, that means you truly love them and you would not want anything to happen to them because there are a human being you consider as somebody worthy of love.
If you think they are attractive it falls into different categories. It's either that you find them physically attractive, their personality attractive, them mentality attractive, the character attractive, or their Spirit attractive. That is for you to personally decide.
If you want to cuddle and hold hands that has to do what you wanted to build a connection with them.
And if you're willing to put them first even if his heart then that has nothing to do with you crushing. It has to do you wanted to love them and give all that you have of yourself to that person. That is a personal choice.
No. If you feel that same way with the same gender it does not mean that you are. It just means that you are having intrusive thoughts that practically most people experience. What determines if you are is when you decide to be sexually involved with the same sex.
