How long do you usually wait to have sex with someone you’re dating?

This question is about people you go on dates with because you have the intention of starting a relationship, or people you’re officially in a relationship with. Don’t include one night stands, friends with benefits, or casual sex partners like that.
I feel like I would wait at least a few months after becoming official because right now I envision waiting until we’re sure we could have a future together and we love each other, which probably takes a while.

  • It's whenever happens lol, if both are in the mood then that's how non planned kids come to the world and this happen in long term relations and even the 1st approach... the best thing is to carry condoms Everytime in my opinion because you never know... you are trying to plan something that is part of a emotional sporadic part in life... maybe he takes the pants off one rainy night and you screw your year schedule and just smash the whole weekend... nobody knows when it's coming, the only thing you can do is at least be prepared with condoms lol

  • Once we know we enjoy each other's company after the preliminary negotiations on the first couple of dates, I'm hopeful we will start walking the bases. I look at intercourse, if it is forthcoming, as a declaration of a lasting, exclusive relationship.

  • Depends I guess. With my ex it never felt right so we never did anything 🤷‍♀️ With my boyfriend I’ve been with for almost seven years we had sex the first night we hung out because it felt right.

  • I typically go for the 3rd or 4th date. That's usually long enough for me to get a good read on how compatible we are, and how interested in them I am.

  • I didn’t think about the possibility of having sex until around the 2 month mark

  • I'd wait until my partner feels like she is comfortable with the idea and feels ready to do it with me. I personally don't care about timing, only the comfort of my SO.

  • At least a month. Sometimes a few months.

  • There's no time table, it's whenever we are both ready and comfortable. Sometimes that can be pretty quickly, other times it make take time. Depends on the relationship/person.

  • Like most guys (99.99999%) I wait until she says yes. If she ain't said yes after about 5 dates its doubtful I'm still going out with her though.

  • I like to wait until she says yes

  • it's roughly 3 dates or so. If you're really into the guy shoot for exactly 3 or 4 dates. You really don't want him to lose interest either. Guys are usually waiting for 3 dates. You could string him along a little longer, but he will likely lose interest

  • It is not about the time or day or a week to wait. It's a feel and emotion that comes from inside of the heart and mutual understanding. Sex is not just a casual thing. It's more than a relationship.

  • To it gets right.
She must make it happen to make it happen.

  • No sex by 3rd date and there is no 4th date.

  • A few months is too long. I can never really put a time span because each person and each relationship is different. We could have sex right after our first date or we might not feel it till a few weeks it just depends.

  • The climax that is the product of that intercourse is one of the main motivations to make a second date

  • There's no set time it depends on the connection you make wit that person how attracted they are you each other and the level of comfort when it come to sharing their selves with one another

  • Usually before we date

  • I would like to do it from the beggining

  • It depends how much bond v have built...

  • My last relationship, I waited a month

  • I leave that decision up to her

  • Same night

  • Males wait as long as we have to since the female tells us when.
