If he needed to have sex to manage his anxiety he should have been having sex with his wife 24/7. He had this issue before he went to the white House. Maybe he and his wife had an agreement who knows but the President can't be that careless.

I watched Monika Lewinsky on a Ted Talk. She was extremely depressed after that incident. She made a mistake doing that with him because he was a married and she as drawn to his position of power but she got the brunt of the criticism.

She went to stay with her parents and they wouldn't let her close doors she was so depressed. He was the older adult and he should have been the one who said no. He, also, lied about the sexual after the fact saying he didn't have sex. Well he was old enough to know that was a blatant lie.

He should have said I messed up. I made the choice to do it and it was a selfish thing to do. I didn't think about how it would have affected a 20 something woman's life.
He's basically saying he has absolutely no self control and that is very immature. I voted for him so it isn't like I was against him from the beginning. If they had been both single I wouldn't cared. And the lying about it once it happened is a sticking point.

Well, the presidency is probably one of the most stressful jobs there is. So I assume this helped relieve his anxiety. But that was a side benefit. He did it because he was horny.

I suppose all his other affairs were to relieve his anxiety also. The dude was a womanizer going way back to high school, (I read the first several chapters of his autobiography, but quit when I couldn't handle him playing himself up as god any longer)

Sounds like an excuse to me. People honestly love to use anxiety as an excuse for a lot of things.

Absolutely everyone experiences anxiety in life. I'm not sure why the mental health industry seems to have latched onto this "anxiety" thing and enabled people to use it as a crutch (and they've done the same thing with depression), but experiencing anxiety does not mean the person has a mental illness as people often treat it. Yes, anxiety disorders exist, but the vast majority of people do not have them.

Sure to some extent. It was because they had an emotional connection and he didn't have a good outlet for all the stress. I seriously doubt she was the only one.
The real issue is he was raised by mom and he became a "roving wolf" without dad. And his relationship with wife was likely too intellectual, not enough the other.
