Anyone is more likely to be honest and less inhibited by alcohol but the amount of alcohol required is based on the individual.
Also based on your statement he was lying or you cured him as being impotent means he finds it difficult to get hard hence if you had sex you cured him.
For him to not be able to get you pregnant he would have to be infertile.
