big difference between what happens in our dreams vs. what we fantastize about when we're awake. Dreams are totally 'anything goes' because we don't have any filters in place to stop them from happening - they just happen. dreams can absolutely be totally bizarre, scary, disturbing, etc - and may not be things you'd actually WANT to happen in real life.

Fantasies, I think are where are minds WANT to go - they're all enjoyable (to us), and they're things that sometimes we do choose to turn into realities.
